If you had a Qso'd them, then a card would be in order. 

If you didn't Q them, then you didn't log them. 

In most contests, I find myself in the same position.. and you know what...

for me.. that is just the name of the game.. who knows.. the fellow that just 
called, 

just might be the next K5ZD, or WB9Z, or the next Mike... or K7SS.. or he might 
tell someone else that will be. 

  Or.. more importantly, the card you send, just might hang around long enough 
to inspire someone else too
