Not to bring the debate here, but my question about "true north" is
"How accurate do you need to be?" A 2 foot diameter dish at 10 GHz has
a lot narrower beamwidth than anything on HF, and my trusty ol' US
Army lensatic compass has been accurate enough for me for years on
that band.
