[CQ-Contest] Why "Phone is easier"

Why do so many think "Phone is easier"?  I sure find phone harder to copy,
and for me SS SSB is harder work than is SS CW.

I finally had the "Well, duh" moment after the thread died out.  It's
because -- especially newcomers -- they don't know the code!

Well, duh!

(I think we tend to forget how good the guys in the CW 'Tests are, compared
to the average ham.)
