The exchange consists of the following five items:
1. Number - Consecutive serial number beginning with number one.
2. Precedence - a single letter, either Q (if you are running under 5
watts,) A (150 watts or less,) B (over 150 watts,) M (if you are a
multi-operator,) or U (if you are unlimited, that is, using spotting
assistance.)
3. Call - Your own call.
4. Check - a two digit number that is the last two digits of the year
you were first licensed.
5. Section - Your ARRL section.
If you copy the entire exchange from the other station, start your exchange
with just "QSL." Please do not begin your exchange by repeating your QSO
partner's exchange information after you have received it, such as "I copy
your number 20." If you need a fill, ask for what you need using the first
word of #1 - 5 above. Please do not preface your exchange by saying "Please
copy."
