Thinking about this, I don't think there are any active cw operators in
Alaska located above the Arctic Circle. The only possibility might be AL7X
in Nome, who is quite a good operator, and makes some Qs in ARRL SS every
few years, but no idea if he is active at the moment.

FWIW:  An all bands contest with the SP rules would be a lot of fun I
think.

It happens every year. The contest is called RAEM. The next one is in a few
days,  Here are the rules http://raem.srr.ru/en/2016-rules/ BTW when
working stations located above Arctic Circle (above 66 degrees
North/South) brings 100 bonus points for each QSO so these stations are in a
great demand.
