[RFI] OT? Why Does 1450 Wobble & 970 Not?

I am not sure where to post this so I thought
I'd ask here and get a referral to a more
appropriate list ...

Why is it that late in the afternoon a BC radio
station on 1450KHz wobbles and 970KHz does not?

Signal strength appears to be roughly equal.
