How old of a furnace is it Bob. Our gas job uses a ceramic thing, like a glow
plug. I do remember the old oil furnace use a spark gap. You could hear it
buzzzzit on startup. Sometimes the thing would buzzzzzit for a long time
before ignition, hi.
