We can buy a lot of leverage in Washington with 700,00 hams donating 
annually to the ARRL Spectrum Defense Fund. That's $14,000,000 annually 
with a measly $20 donation from each ham. It's still a big number even 
with a 50% participate rate.
Maybe have each vendor at Dayton participate in a fund raising and 
awareness effort? Funding could do a hell of a lot more than an FCC 
petition, but we need to get the message out there.
