The voices of the masses have been heard, (partially). There will be two (2)
NCJ RTTY NAQP's next year, 2003. The first will be the last full weekend in
February, (Feb 22-23 in 2003) and the 3rd full weekend in July (Jul 19-20 in
2003). Please mark on your calendars. Rules for the RTTY NAQP will remain
the same, i.e.,. no 160meter. (thats still up in the air and survey was
50/50 and not sure if adding it would add anything to the contest). The NAQP
is low power and guys were having hard if not impossible time in making
contacts with hi power. Team registration is/will be done via the NCJ Web
site and log submission remain the same, i.e., rttynaqp@ncjweb.com . All
submitted logs are to be in Cabrillo Format if at all possible (to help me
check the logs and get the result out). If the log cannot be submitted in
Cabrillo Format, it has to be in a .txt file for conversion on my end. Your
help in this will be greatly appreciated...Reminder/s will be sent out prior
to the Februay one whereby one doesn't forget.. Results for the 2002 NCJ
RTTY NAQP, will appear in the 2002 Nov/Dec issue of the NCJ. FYI, ICOM,
through negoiations by Shelby, K4WW, is supplying all the certificates for
the NAQP. See you in the contests..Wasn't the CQWW a blast..73 de
