The ARRL Novice Roundup was my the first contest also. Last night I
checked my first log, covering '59-'60, and saw that I entered the 1960
Roundup. My second QSO in the contest was K4BAI. It was his first QSO,
which was the first and last time I have been ahead of John in a contest!
