A while back you had a post about wanting to see more contester's 
stations featured on covers of magazines, etc., with TRLog instead of 
Brand C. 

Last evening, a bunch of the local contest club had dinner and 
several of the attendees; heavy hitters, I might add; practically had 
a zen experience proselytizing TRLog over Brand C or Brand N.

With these two thoughts in mind, may I suggest forgetting about 
emulating anyone. TRLog is the industry standard now, or will be. It 
has the features and the support missing from the old standard, and 
flexibility missing from the other very good competitor.

I see emulation as adding unnecessary overhead and baggage to your
code, and which you acknowledge would be a programming nightmare.

It is time to let the others chase you, not vice versa.
