Yes, it is true there are "standards" for windows programs.
Yes, it is true that Microsoft changes those standards with each
release.
Yes, it is true that there are standard keystroke substitutions for
most, but not all, mouse functions.
Yes, it is true that there will be some conflict between Windows
keystrokes and TR Log keystrokes.
Now for the good news -
Windows has a "Console Mode" which looks and feels just like DOS!
But, unlike DOS, the Console Mode runs true 32 bit code, so has
access to all the "cool" windows stuff, like huge arrays, USB ports,
etc.

In my experience, the biggest problem with Windows programs is that
Windows users have different interface expectations from users
of DOS programs. TR Log is a DOS program, with an interface that
is unlikely to appeal to a Windows user (it doesn't even appeal
to a lot of DOS program users!)
