I agree, but don't let it have the VFO system of the Scout. I have had
three Scouts, all of which worked fine on SSB. But at 25-30 WPM, CW,
Those little rigs drifted right out of the other station's bandpass. One
fellow I talked to found the way to keep it on frequency at the higher
speeds; he gave long pauses between words. Not easy to do, and
impossible using a keyboard.

But a nice little TT rig with a better frequency control system would
sure be appreciated.
