I recently purchased a great analog Triton IV, model 540. Upon conducting
an alignment of the rig this past weekend, I noticed a slight "hand
capacitance" effect when the dial skirt is touched. A call to the factory
revealed that the digital version of the Triton can be easily modified but
the analog version is much more difficult because of interference to the
dial cord. Has anyone successfully grounded their analog Triton's dial
skirt? Thanks!
