I just got an OO report. I was operating on 7.026 and had a "modulated
CW" signal "unnecessarily wide for HF". The OO went on to say he had
heard me another time on 14.025 with a similar signal but "not as bad".
At the time of the 7.026 QSO I was told by the fellow I was in QSO with
that my signal sounded fuzzy and had side bands. We QSY'ed to 7.033 and
my signal cleared up. The OO also monitored my signal after the QSY and
said it was fine on that frequency. It appears my Paragon puts out a
funky signal around .025 and .026 on both 40 and 20 meters. I have not
checked other bands as yet.

Does anyone have experience with such a problem on a Paragon. Maybe
some of you fellows with greater technical knowledge than I can suggest
a cure for the problem or at least maybe an idea on what could be
causing it. I frankly don't know where to start with something like
this. Maybe I just need to let the Paragon take a short visit to its
birthplace.
