Ok folks boy have I received a lot of email about this and I appreciate it
:) I think I MIGHT have solved it. I have provided pictures of the offending
device just for your enjoyment.
Things I have found:
1. The RF is outputted to the fence AND the ac lines(as several suggested). It
gets stronger on my receiver the closer I get to the house or the closer I get
to the fence but drops off in between out in the middle of front yard.
2. On my digital receiver my coil and cap assembly shown in my pictures does
not seem to affect the RF, ,,, however it looks like preliminary results on
my phone line are that it did affect the phone line and dampen it consderably.
Enough that my net connection is working much better now.
3. For your information, the hot fence charger is on the corner of the garage
under my VHF antenna(doesn't affect it) and is about 15 feet physically away
from my modem line.
I'm going to play with this a bit further to see if we truly have solved it or
if I'm just fooling myself. However I feel confident at this point! Oh and no
berrating me for using a rather expensive plate coil for my choke!! ;) If this
is indeed working like it "appears" to be I'll enclose the parts in a box.
Photographs of offending device etc. Page may take a little while to load.
