1. In Outlook, pull down TOOLS and select OPTIONS

2. Under OPTIONS, select the MAIL FORMAT TAB.

3. Set SEND IN THIS MESSAGE FORMAT to HTML.

4. Under SIGNATURE. select SIGNATURE PICKER.

5. Select NEW. Select a name for your signature (I chose
HTML). Type your signature as you wish it to appear. When
you type in your email address and hit RETURN,
it will look like this: <mailto:w5ben@arrl.net>

6. Now change your SEND IN THIS MESSAGE FORMAT back to PLAIN
TEXT.

7. If you wish to use this signature as the DEFAULT, be sure
it appears in

the USE THIS SIGNATURE BY DEFAULT: box.

8. When you first try the new signature, it will look like
this:

                        Duane Budd
                        w5ben@arrl.net <mailto:w5ben@arrl.net>
                        Johnson City, TN 37601

If this suits you, you are through. If you want it to look
like this:

                        Duane Budd
                        <mailto:w5ben@arrl.net>
                        Johnson City, TN

simply go back to the SIGNATURE PICKER and EDIT out the
w5ben@arrl.net that is NOT in blue.

So there you have it. Not too simple, but once you have done
it you can insert a "mailto: signature on any or all of your
outgoing email .
