Crimping is good idea as well silver plated soldering model too as it's easy
to
sold , but on crimping you must have good tool.
Usually below USD 50 level tools are not very strong. U.S tool on long arms
is perfect as well some other professional models.
Usually connector must be like Kings USA is producing: PTFE / silver and
easy to sold or
just use otherwise CRIMP model. Well NEW clean Amphenol on ceramic
insulator is
good as well.
I recommend piece of shield tube , which has glue inside and will be
shrinked down to -66%.
I think ½ " is std and relevant for RG213 / RG8U connectors.
