Without. 1. The rig is very tolerant of SWR. I thought I read in one of the earlier ads that it could handle 3:1 as is. Most built in antenna tuners don't do much better. Mine has no power foldback at 3:1. 2. The built in tuner was reported to be a dog. (slow, loud and no memories) 3. Many available outboard tuners that do better for less money and can be moved from rig to rig. 4. Who needs a tuner-in-the-rig if you are going into an amp or using an outboard tuner with ladder line? Radio k4ia Craig "Buck" Fredericksburg, Virginia USA |
