This is a big subject, Don. Are you thinking of big outdoor loops, or
ones that will fit on a condo balcony? There is an active Yahoo group
for loop antennas at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/loopantennas/ The two most popular smaller loop antennas a made by MFJ and AEA (the Isopole). A Google group search (http://www.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en) will get you plenty of opinions about each of them.
