I'd love to buy it from you Greg. It's a deal. It'll never replace my
contest rig (the receiver isn't even close to being up to the task), but
it'll be fine for casual SKCC (Straight Key Century Club) operating. It'll
also take me back to my early hamming days in the early 80s, when all I
could afford, was a simple, fun rig. How do you want me to pay for it, and
what's the shipping cost?
This'll be the 4th Ten Tec I've owned (Had a Delta II, Argosy II [regret
getting rid of that one, but I couldn't afford to have 2 rigs at the time
{it didn't have 160, 17, or 12 meters}], and a Scout). Here's my address
for shipping info (and yes, I'm an apartment dweller, and yes I do contest
from it [QRP - been a QRP nut since the late 80s], I have a 140 ft endfed
arrayed in a loop around my 2nd floor balcony, and unlike my previous
antenna at my old apartment, it not only works on decently [for me at leas]
on 80m, and 20-10m, it also works pretty well on 160m, and 40m too):
