I hve omni 6. had jupiter and argo 5. But am not buying the Orion until some 
things get solved. But having been on this reflector for several years and 
listening to good and bad, some things may never get solved. I don't agree with 
the attitude of the initial thread on tt, I do agree the sdr 1000 is something 
to look into. My only problem is that it may be to deep for me into computers 
and software to understand. but I just may take a shot at it. The software is 
getting more user friendly.  I could wait for the new book (SDR FOR DUMMIES)to 
come out. My 3 cents worth. Roger, W4IV
