Orion I here. AGC slope is a new concept to me and I can't find a good explanation of what is going on. Can someone point me in the right direction? I do like the slower attack with the new AGC. I thought the old system made the radio sound very noisy and made it hard to copy weak signals. The radio still sounds very noisy compared to my MarkV Field. The NR is still no where near as good as 1.371 but it is improved. It is now mostly useless as opposed to totally useless. k4ia Craig "Buck" Fredericksburg, Virginia USA |
