Maybe they're just low because the operators actually believe the 16 digits
of precision they get from their calculators when they divide 1.2 by the
sgrt of 47, and likewise believe the digital dial on their radios is
perfectly accurate to the Hz ???  

Or maybe  -- they just don't know how to tune to a net.  How did ham radio
ever survive in the days of the Handbook VFO :-)

Actually, if T-T released an option to lock the Orions to a GPS-stabilized
10Mhz reference, I'd be the first one in line to buy one.  But just because
someone is using an OCXO doesn't mean they won't still be 20 Hz off --
fixed, stable and permanent :-)
