Tod,

I using a normal 9-pin to 25-pin serial cable from the PC to the Omni 
VI.  I think it is a "cross-over" cable but I'm not sure on that.  I can 
check if you wish.  I have mine set to 19200bps, 8 data bits, 1 stop 
bit.  You also need to set the software up for an Icom IC-735.  I've 
read that IC-703 may work also but I have not tried it.
