This a somewhat simple question in many reapects, but I think it is worth asking. I am looking to power my Omni V with a motorola 30 amp supply (from a micor radio). Its outputt voltage, however, is 15.2 volts without any loading. I have looked all over for a POT to turn it back but there does not seem to be one. What is the general concencus about running the rig at 15 volts? I realize it is specified as 12-14v. Better yet, has anyone ever played with one of those power supplies and found out where you adjust the voltage. A comment on either or both would be appreciated. Kind regards, scott VA3IED |
