Rol, Do you happen to have the LDG tuner in your Orion? I've noted a occasional strange issue where the tuner should be disabled and not having an effect, but the relay is not engaged on the tuner board that bypasses it. After doing one tune cycle and then disabling the tuner stopped that. Not exactly the same, but maybe some combination of things caused by an odd state. Might not hurt to do as Ten-Tec sugests though (if its not tuner related). If one of the mini coax connectors is making erattic contact, it could cause such odd behavior. I've used some CircuitWorks CW7400 Gold Guard cleaner/lubricant on these connectors (this is for any 'noble' metal contacts). Anthony, K4ZNO |
