The thing is, if the radio is transmitting on the wrong freq, you can't use a dummy load and tell by looking at the SWR.

The tuner confuses the issue a bit, but are the tuner settings where they
normally are for 20m?


If you don't have a good 50 ohm non-inductive termination (dummy load)
you should get one. It really helps to simplify the system when
troubleshooting. With a standard 50 ohm termination and a power
monitoring device (doesn't have to be a real good one, just one that you
can use as a comparison from other rigs and bands) you will be able to
determine whether it is a problem with the rig and not the load.
