        Model 1254 receiver kit.

My manual is made on a copier, with several
pages of corrections on separate sheets, and
the printing is blurred, and often the text
        is crooked on the page.

Not at all the quality of the instruction
manual that came with the Model 1225 SWR/Watt
meter kit I built a couple of weeks ago, which
        manual matches your description.

        Yep.

I sorta wish I had not said anything, as I
generally do not knock any team I am on, and
I don't want to be the harbinger of band news
        about HQ.

In any case, I anticipate the radio will play
well when finished, and I consider this a mere
speed bump, not a road block, along the route.
