I need to amend my previous response. The encoder in the Jupiter is a 
HRPG-ASCA#17F. That particular encode is the tough one to find. I ordered the 
HRPG-ASCA#17C. Same shaft length, shaft diameter and resolution but different 
mounting and connection to the circuit board.

Yes, but just to be clear (and it's already been mentioned) - that is an
adaptable part, not a direct replacement since the cabling/pin
configuration is different.  A direct replacement is NOT available.
