[TenTec] Orion vs Orion bright screen not so bright screen

two Orion's One bright backlight one not that bright by comparison. both start 
the same and look good once up and going. but darker back light is always 
darker. So thought A9 board. so to test swapped the boards between the two. 
Results unchanged bright Orion still bright and darker one still darker. ??? 
LCD? also read VE7TK information about logic board c700? I am leaning toward 
the LCD but hate to go to that effort if it is something else.At this point 
since Screen is still good do not want to do anything but Still would love to 
have both bright!
