even though the rules of a contest do not specifically mention a "DX window" i believe that some sort of window should be kept clear of US and Canadian stations. whenever i saw a spot for a DX station and listened on the frequency shown there was invariably a US station calling CQ. they had no idea that DX was also on the frequency. if there was ever a chance to hear the DX it was completely impossible with the QRM. most of the topband operators know how difficult it is to hear europe from the "left" and west coast. how about giving us a break? regards and happy new year, larry n7dd _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
