Having at last found time to study the recent, and most interesting, "Two
Wire Beverage thread" I cannot find the answer to one particularly
interesting question: How close should one put the wires in a two wire Beverage system? I would be most happy if anyone could pass on the answer to that particular part of the discussion. For reference, the parts referred to above Tom Rauch wrote 20 Aug 2004: If they are good enough for a single wire antenna, they are good enough for a reversible system if wire spacing is kept fairly close. Larry Molitor wrote 20 Aug 2004: How close is "fairly close"? Are we talking twin lead close? Commercial 450 ohm ladder line close? Is 6 inches to far? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Hermod Pedersen, HCDX Web Editor <http://www.hard-core-dx.com/> _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
