Hi All, I managed to work this CQ WW CW single band 160 meters single operator. Yes, as K5ZK, my feeling is that conditions have been poor during this contest. First night was better than the second, no doubts about it. Saturday morning I worked my first US station at 0555z. My sunrise is at the moment at 0711z, not too much time to work many. Sunday morning, I had a big hope I worked my first at least 2 hours earlier, but signals were very weak and QRN was quite high. My hopes droped very fast, I even gave up before my sunrise. So, only about 40 US and VE stations contacted during the week end. One very good thing, HC8N called me, it was my best DX and a new one on CW. Already have it confirmed on 160 SSB. So, I ended the contest with 570 QSO, 56 DXCC and 11 zones. See you next week end for the ARRL 160 and the following with the Stew Perry (by the way I saw that I should receive a plaque for the last Stew Perry soon) 73/88 de F8BPN, Mau f8bpn@wanadoo.fr http://perso.wanadoo.fr/ph-martin/f8bpn
