Perhaps talk with some of the engineers of the stations. I have a quarter wave base insulated vertical with 120 quarter wave radials. I have not noticed any change with snow, but of course, we have much less snow accumulation here than you have up in Québec. I have noticed some de-tuning effects from freezing rain.
