Well, IKE took my top band antenna. My 160 inverted "L" between
two tall East Texas pine trees is totally GONE! Not a trace except
for what was left of the SO239 at the feed point. I can't even find any
wires hanging in any surrounding trees. All strings are gone too. At
least the pine trees are still there to build another one. All other
antennas, house, etc., are FB.
The plan is to put another in the same spot and switch in voltage
feed for 80 meters (I saved notes from that thread).
I also want to increase the bandwith of the antenna by:
a) making it longer and switch in capacitance to electrical shorten it
or
b) making it shorter and switch in inductance to electrical lengthen it.
Which do ya'll think is best?
Time to add gas to the generator and have an 807.

WX during passage of IKE's eye.
