Thanks so much to all who replied, I didn't know to get a different
model of connector, the twist on kind from Radio Shack I had used
with this cable seemed to fit just fine so I thought one size fit
all.
So what I needed was Thomas & Betts Model SNS1P6QS:
http://tinyurl.com/86pw9kc and the ones I bought were SNS1P6.
I just now ordered 50 of the QS variety, I really don't want to do
this in the snow. Maybe that white stuff will hold off till I can get
this done.
I'll have to find how to prepare this coax for these connectors. Who
knows, maybe reception will improve using quad shield connectors on
this coax? probably not but I do want the connectors to be water
tight.
I've now got 90 of the SNS1P6 I don't need. Contact me off-list if
you want em' cheap otherwise they're off to fleabay.
