Doesn't the inverted vee offer some of the advantages of a vertical, lower
beam in a stack, etc.? Can one not model certain ground effect and
propagation conditions where a vee may in fact be expected to outperform a
flat top dipole to a specific location? (However rare)

This would seem to fit with much of the discussion here previously.
