I have the RD 1800 at 120 feet turning a C3E and a Cushcraft XM240. It does
what I paid for...it turns the antenna in a dependable manner and the
indicator indicates properly. No sticky brakes, indicator jumping around or
failing to indicate. I have two minor problems.
1. The plastic connector in the bottom of the rotator broke. It is minor
because it is really unnecessary. I reported this and was told that this is
being fixed.
2. My rotator generates a little hash when rotating. I don't think this is a
problem with all of these rotators. If anyone else has run into this, let me
know what you did. This is minor because I can use it the way it is.
