I consider BuryFlex (tm) to be the best 'low loss'
cable in the RG-8 class. It is ~$.59/ft. the last
time I looked.
That said, nothing can beat 75 ohm CATV hardline.
It is extremely low loss, and free if you can
find a cable system nearby that is doing work.
You can build connectors using common brass
plumbing fittings for cheap.
