Can anyone express an opinion, perhaps based upon real comparisons between the
performance of:
(All things being equal)
A 1/4 wave vertical and an inverted L on 80 m with equal radials.
What would (should) the appropriate length of the "L" be?
Using wire, I can get 70 feet on the vertical and about 80-90 feet horizontal,
if the branches are good to me when I shoot this with my slingshot..

Been using a full-wave delta loop for years and it has been a good antenna; but
want to try something else on 80m

I have a Beverage for receive.
