DX Engineering has a neat hat kit to fit most antennas. The
Hot Rodz can be used with extended length rods and that will
allow many screwdriver antennas to hit 1.8 MHz.

I just use a homebrew small inductor to match the system.
There isn't much current in the shunt indictor.
