Agreed, they're not made out of eggshells! When I took delivery of mine, we
carefully dragged it off the truck with a Ford 8N sized tractor and boom. We
had a few people to msucle the thing over bumps, and a come-along to help
ease it down onto the ground. When the foundation was ready for the tower,
we slowly/carefully dragged it along the ground, rolled it over so the bolt
holes aligned with the tower base, and eased it in place. Careful
inspection, as previously mentioned, is wise. If you take your time and
don't rough up the tower, it will survive with no ill effects. I might add,
my experience is based on a telescoping tower, 4 sections, weight around
1500 pounds.
