Some of you have been asking me about the "GEE-WIZ IT
WORKS" Antenna I wrote the list about earlier.

I had to check it this morning I was afraid it fell down -
the band is TOTALLY SILENT except for atmospheric noise.

In the contest so far here
are the stats:

BTW:
THANKS TO ALL FOR A CONTACT

105 Qs
219 PTS
45 SECS
SCORE 9,855

Can you believe it I have worked all but about four
states.
Also worked HC8, KH6, KP2 and VE

I am not bragging, I realize these scores contest wise are
nothing compared to other stations and there are plenty
out there who could BLOW MY SOCKS OFF

But I am very surprised and elated.
Thanks to all of you who share in my enthusiasm.

This really encourages me to do a lot more with wire
antennas around here.

Code may be taking a back seat for now,
but the pioneering spirit that put the code
there in the first place is out front of it all.
