Now now now JT, that wasn't necessary.  What the poster was implying is
that aluminum is probably best served in other applications, whether
you agree with him or not.  I would be slow to call anyone here a
troll.  People may be less inclined to forward you their opinions in
fear of being called names.

You seem to have a "basic" understanding of the tower in question and
you've already mentioned that the cable system is in good shape, so I'm
not sure I can add anything to your knowledge.

Will it be free standing or bolted to the side of the house/building? 
Do you have the base plate for it (if required).  Do you know the wind
load of the antennas you want to this tower to support?   Is the tower
rated to support it?  Do you know the wind rating for the area you live
in?

These are just a few questions you need to ask yourself before you start
to sink your $$$ into it!
