 I appreciate the feedback.

 Steve,I plan to fabricate the mount per your description based on an earlier 
thread.
 The recommendation from the tree removal firm was to use lag bolts to let the 
tree
 get larger as compared to through bolts that will get burried within.

 The Hoa has a statement in the CC&R that any request to install antennas will
 need a HOA/Arch approval.

 I guess the tree proposal with a steppIr and no flashy metal is a win-win. 
Will see how
 it goes.
