have on hand a Yaesu G-2800SDX but the bolt pattern is totally different. I
have the Yaesu manual but it does not contain a true template. I really do
not want to drill new holes with or without a template (unless this the
only option) and am wondering if other options exist. Thanks, in advance, for
your assistance.

They are both 4-hole patterns - the Yaesu one is just slighter larger.
You could use a big uni-bit (step drill) to really drill them out and then
use big washers to secure everything over the bigger holes.

Rohn uses slotted holes so it'll accommodate both but that won't help you,
it's just the way it's done these days. You can always take the plate to a
machine shop and they can do it for you - and precisely too. For what this
tower is capable of, whatever you do will work FB.
