Lonnie,
While I don't have any personal experience with their 40m antennas, I would
personally recommend that you take a look at OptiBeam and see what they offer.
I
have one of their antennas for 10-20m (5 Band) and the construction of it is
nothing short of fantastic. Maybe some of the others have experience with a 40m
OptiBeam and comment on it directly. Also, I can tell you that their customer
service is outstanding. This is my first OptiBeam and if I was in the market
for
something else I think I would go with OptiBeam if I could again. Good luck
with
whatever you decide to go with.

Subject: [TowerTalk] 2 el 40m beams
Hello out there.
I'm at a loss as to what to replace a snow-damaged 2 el 40m beam with.
Everything I've found on-line doesn't really call out how strong the antenna
is.
Ideally, since most "gain" figures would be nebulous anyway, I want the
STRONGEST beam
out there since it's going on Bertha at 100 feet.
Any suggestions?
Lonnie
