More info... I measured the bolts that were on the tower originally
(reminder: They were SAE Type 5).
The majority of them are 2" long, 3/4" diameter, and the heads fit a
1-1/8" wrench. The two hinge bolts are the same specs but 3" long 'cuz
they also have to accept the diagonal bracing pieces for the erection
structure.
Do the above match the US Tower-supplied bolts? Should they be plain
steel or galvanized?
Looks like I can buy A325 bolts/nuts from Grainger, Fastenal, and
Tacoma Screw Products locally. Should they be plain or hot-dipped
galvanized?
