I think the highest duty cycle is during a string of unanswered CQs. Transmit is about five seconds, listening about three, for a duty cycle of 60% or so. It depends on the contest, of course. CQ SARTG takes longer than CQ RR. When I have to add the /6 it goes even higher. :-) 73, Bill W7TI |
